Cebu , is the place where we live right now. This place is known for its beautiful spots like the different beaches in the place, religious festivals (the most common is Sinulog), and hospitable people and right now for vigilantism! For me, this isn’t one thing a Cebuano should be proud of.
Vigilantism is defined as the killings of convicts, suspected people or anyone who have committed crimes. This is done brutally by individuals or group of people riding in motorcycles. These people sometimes cover their faces with a black mask or something that hides their faces. They called themselves concern but for me, they aren’t! Concern for killing people?! I consider them as individuals who are illiterate and who cannot give difference to money from dignity. With the things, I have mentioned above, we can clearly understand that vigilantism is truly bad, useless, and unjustifiable.I definitely do not know when did this vigilantism thing started. I just heard from the news. I can say that it so unjustifiable because those killers or vigilantes do not have enough proof to just shoot those people. They do not know if the persons they have killed had really committed crimes! It is so unfair for he relatives of the ones killed because they have lost their loved ones just for this kind of killing. Why can’t they have another way to let those convicts suffer from their mistakes? Is this necessary to teach a lesson to them?
Vigilantism has greatly affected the name of Cebu , not only within is inhabitants, what is worse is it had spread to other countries. Cebu ’s reputation for being a haven of harmony has been slowly replaced by the reputation of being a den of demons. Is this act justifiable? Because of vigilantism, Cebu is now jumping off in the cliff of shame. Vigilante killings are now very rampant in Cebu . And in my opinion, I really do not agree with this.
Let us put this situation as a war of good and evil. The war between good and evil has already started. And the soldiers right now? Well, let us just consider the present simple and innocent individuals. In oher words let’s consider ourselves soldiers in this war. The question we need to answer is. Are we on the evil side by favoring on vigilantism? On the other hand, are we on the other side longing for a way that is justifiable?
Whether we are on vigilantism or humanism, the choice all lies in us. It is for us to decide where to belong. Referring to the bible, God gave us the free will to decide but we should all bear in mind that only God has the right to take away lives. We are all sinners. Let the one who has not sinned pull the gun’s trigger

Memoriesness of highschoolness
“ Yey! Mana periodical test! Skuyla na ta bai!”. I wanted to scream that day, to feel the great sense of happiness after finishing answering our last periodical test. All I think during that very day is that I am free. Free like the winds of the earth. No more obligations and no more tasks. No more pressure on schoolwork and hardships. My days of constant studying have finally come to an end. Now that I am free, I can do whatever I want to do. I can play al day basketball (which I consider my life), I can hang-out with my friends, and I can play computer games.
But there is something beyond that happiness that bothered me. Something I would like to bring with me as I go on with my life yet seems so impossible. I have realized that days from now, I will be graduating from this school. The university which had taught me how to become a better person. The university which made me speak the Cebuano language more efficient than the English language on which I was familiar with when I was still a kid. I will be leaving the sweet cheers and smiles I have experienced with my teachers, classmates, crushes, and especially my best buds the boys in our batch. Memories filled my heart as I began to recall the instances when I was just a nobody in this institution. Those sweet memories kept rushing back to my mind. I wanted to recall every single detail during my stay in UP High because I wanted to reminisce those funny yetsweet memories. I will miss the times I hangout or talk about girls with my barkada. Those talks that made us laugh and laugh. I will miss those times falling in line at the canteed to buy a Drew or to buy a mineral water. Based on our graduation song, I know I cannot forget the scolds of the different subjects teachers I have. And of course I will never forget the Intramurals where in I gave my 100% effort and strength to make the game win. Those were some of the best days of my high school life.
It feels so nice to recall all those moments of early acquaintances. But after graduation, life is a bit different compared to high school. Things would not be the same as it s n the past. Things have change and we also have o change. We need to look ahead and face all the challenges tha may obstruct our dreams. And in every trouble or problems we would encounter, It will lead us to look back on the learnings we have on he past. I am saying this because we will all ener a new stage in our life. The college life. I just hope that as we go and fulfill our dreams and ambitions, we will all remember that we have shared laughters and tears in our stay in this school. Memories we will be bringing on our separate ways.

The problem of men and women...
We all know that the world has only two kinds of people...
And that is the woman and the MAN...
( Gays and Lesbians are not included )...
Everybody knows that man and women really don't get along much,
it is because men and women have really different worlds eventhough
they are living in one...
There perspectives, attitudes and views in life is very different...
so lets begin the enumeration on the problems of women:
We all know that the world has only two kinds of people...
And that is the woman and the MAN...
( Gays and Lesbians are not included )...
Everybody knows that man and women really don't get along much,
it is because men and women have really different worlds eventhough
they are living in one...
There perspectives, attitudes and views in life is very different...
so lets begin the enumeration on the problems of women:
- Girls are so confusing - we all know that women have really weird minds. They can't make up there minds in terms of everything! for example: i have this friend who is a girl, we went to a mall and saw a pretty dress. She decided to save money for it to but it. Weeks pass by and now she has all the money to buy the dress but when we got there she looked for other clothes and decided to not buy it anymore! See! Girls are so weird and very confusing.
- Girls are so sensitive - girls take thing things very seriously even though these are just jokes. They take every word that comes out from everybodies mouth and give meanings to it. They tend to get too emotional even to the smallest of things.
- Girls are too impulsive - They do everything there feeling tells them to do! They shout when they get scared, Laugh out loud when theyre happy, cry when they are sad. They don't realize that some people are getting offended on what they are doing.
- Girls are so "Plastic" - girls tend to hide there true feelings towards people. They pretend to be in good terms with a person eventhough theyre not, they say that the they are happy but really they are sad! Wah! I really don't get the reason on why they are doing this? theyre just hurting people and lying to them.
- Girls are so Annoying - girls want to be the center of attraction. They want to be noticed by everybody all the time which annoys me alot. "Hey! do I look fine? Does this shirt make me look fat?" why cant they just look thereselves in a mirror and answer all there questions instead of annoying people.
- Girls are so insecure - girls get insecure when they see people who they think are better than them. When they see girls who are more beautiful than them they get insecured easily. Why couldn't they just accept who they are and love themselves?
- Girls are too noisy - they don's stop talking! they just nag on almost every little thing they see. They never listen to you and has the tendency to talk and talk and talk and talk. Don't they ever ran out of words?
- Girls live in fantasies - girls base on almost everything in there lives in pocket books, movies, and shows. Wah! you can't base your lives in just this crap. They should be more realistic so that they don't get hurt. They believe that there's a hero that would save them from problems.
- Girls are born backbiters - don't deny it girls! we all know that girls do. We all know that no one is perfect and that there is always a flaws to each and everyone. We all know that people get hurt when other people will find out eventhough they are not the ones who showed it to them. Spreading all these flawses hurts a lot of people that can cause pain and anger.
- Girls are too Vain - they want to be as white as angel! They do not want to get dirty no matter the circumstances are.
The Problem With Men:
The problem with men like everbody says is that men just can't resist girls no matter what they are. We have problems with girls but we still get attracted with them! We hate girls but at the same time adore and worship them. Kinda weird right?
The Look....
The Look
Strephon kissed me in the spring,
Robin in the fall,
But Colin only looked at me
And never kissed at all.
Strephon’s kiss was lost in jest,
Robin’s lost in play,
But the kiss in Colin’s eyes
Haunts me night and day.
The poem maybe just made by 9 lines but it tells a long story …
My interpretation of this poem is that there is this girl that had different lovers in the past. It tells us her memories towards the boy that she loved and how she felt upon leaving the relationship. The season for me tells about the relationship and that it was always changing never meant to last forever. Strephon was maybe her lover and that there relationship did not last because of some misunderstandings and was not at the right time.Strephon’s memory which symbolises the kiss was forgotten by the girl and that she forgot all the memories that came between them. Next was Robin, just like the relationship between the girl and Strephon.. The relationship did not work out at all and decided to put and end to it. The kiss of Robin also symbolizes all the memories that both of them shared which was also forgotten by her. Then came a boy named Colin which he only looked at her and never gave a kiss. This look gave a big impact to the life of the girl and that she can not stop thinking about him. There are only two possible things that could happen. It’s either that Colin loved the girl but he could not express it or does the girl love him but Robin doesn’t. This is the part where I am now puzzled… One of the outcomes that I thought was that Colin was also a suitor of the girl which the girl put down for the other two Guys. Because of this Colin was crushed and decided not to ask for the girl’s love anymore. The girl then felt that it wasn’t Strephon and Robin that she love but it was Colin. The girl talked to Colin but there she saw that Colin’s feelings have changed and that he does not love her anymore. So this follows to the line of the poem “But the kiss in Colin’s eyes Haunts me night and day”. The kiss which means that the memories that they could have shared can never ever happen anymore which she regretted every night and day.
thinking and reading the poem, that’s when I realized that we should accept every decision that we make and try to live on if ever our decisions our wrong.
Cebu Country Club Article
Established in 1928, the Cebu Country Club is one of the best and most admired golf clubs in Cebu. Being the premier golf club in Cebu today, it represents the early developments of golf in Cebu and the Visayas. It takes the driver's seat in handling Cebu's tourism golf traffic after the loss of the famous Club Filipino de Cebu. This golf club is also the site of the PAL Interclub and some legs of the Philippine Golf Circuit.
The golf course has 18 holes covering about 6,481 yards. The green fees depend on the day of the week: PHP2,000 for weekdays and PHP3,500 for weekends and holidays. The caddy's fee is PHP250, golf cart rental is PHP1,500, and golf club rental is PHP300. Club members enjoy discounts on fees, while non-members pay the regular fees.
Cebu Country Club has an elegant clubhouse that is open to local and foreign guests. It boasts of complete facilities that help guarantee a satisfying stay for its guests. Its restaurant provides quality service and offers the best foods and delicacies of Cebu. Guests can relax and go sight-seeing on the tree houses, spend the night out at the bar, play on the badminton and tennis courts, bowl at the bowling alley, and take a refreshing dip at the swimming pool.
The club also has a barber shop, a pelota, and a pro shop that sells high-quality sports gadgets for the pros, as well as modern locker rooms. Security in the club is ensured by personnel who work 24/7 to ensure the safety of the club's patrons.
June (real name withheld for reasons of privacy and confidentiality), a tour guide of Mr. Samuel Darza in the golf club, said that the topography of the golf course is very different from other golf courses. He speaks highly of the club's services, describing them as satisfying. He also said that the 18 holes of the golf course cover a land area that extends from Banilad, Cebu City, up to Mandaue City in the north. As far as security is concerned, June feels that the club is a safe place and has no security problem because, despite the club's large size, security personnel roam and patrol all sides of the field. Further, June said that the club regularly upgrades its facilities; hence, the club's facilities are on a par with the latest and the best.
In addition to its local clients, the club also has frequent visits from foreign guests, many of whom find the club a perfect place for relaxation and for enjoying life's pleasures. Though, most of the club members are usually retired white-collar employees of private companies.
Every Cebuano and non-Cebuano who tees off on the greens of Cebu Country Club would definitely find that, owing to the club's elegant facilities and efficient service, Cebu Country Club undoubtedly helps portray Cebu as a place rich with natural and man-made
structures.http://3cities.uphighschoolcebu.edu.ph/countryclubhistory.php

Research Studyness
In the past decades, coccidiosis was one of the diseases most feared by commercial poultry farm growers. Death losses of 20 percent or more were common. “Backyard growers” are usually so small that coccidiosis is not a problem, but as the size of the free-range flocks increases, the disease now becomes a threat (USDA Agricultural Research Service, 2005).
Poultry production has undergone rapid changes during the past decades due to the introduction of modern intensive production methods, new breeds, and improved biosecurity and preventive health measures. Moreover, these intensive production methods place high demands on proper health, hygiene and management and require only a small, but very skilled labor force. The progress in industrial poultry production methods has thus had little effect on subsistence poultry production in the rural and sub-urban areas. In these areas, access to poultry meat and eggs depend on village-level poultry production. Although poultry production is considered as secondary to other agricultural production systems, it has an important role in supplying villagers with additional income and high protein (Fanatico, 2006).
Almost all families in developing countries keep a chicken flock with an average size of about 10 adult chickens. Mortalities observed are in the range of 80-90% within the first year after the hatching period. The mortality is believed to be caused by mismanagement, lack of supplementary feeding, predators and diseases (Fanatico, 2006).
Coccidiosis is regarded as the principle factor limiting the poultry production. It is a very infectious disease, which is most likely to affect chicks aged between 10 days and 8 weeks old. After this age, the chicks have usually acquired a degree of immunity to it, except if severely challenged. Unpleasant little protozoa called coccidia cause the disease. Coccidia are host specific or “species-specific”, so they do not affect other livestock of other species. The stage where the disease is passed between birds is called an oocyst. These get passed in the droppings. The oocysts are tough little blighters and can survive over a year outside the body, and are not killed by normal disinfectant (University of Surrey, 2003).
This killer disease on chicks is a parasitic disease that can cause severe losses in poultry meat and egg production. The parasites multiply in the intestines and can cause tissue damage, lowered feed intake, poor absorption of nutrients from the feed, dehydration, and blood loss (Department of Science and Technology, 1988).
Aside from the preventive health measures applied on a poultry production, the researchersa also aimed to find another way that could help control coccidiosis –– whether the height of the coops significantly affects the presence of oocysts in the chicks and to their mean gain in masses.
The study is then entitled, “The Masses and the Presence of Oocysts in the Chicks Situated in the Coops with Varying Heights: A Comparative Study”.
This study aimed to determine whether the height of the coops significantly affects the presence of oocysts in the chicks to their mean gain in masses.
The study uses the Simple Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) which is a technique designed to test whether or not more than two samples or groups are significantly different from each other.
The methodology of the study is summarized as follows:
Three coops were constructed with different levels. The first coop was at the ground level, the second was 45 cm above the ground, and the third one was located 90 cm above the ground. Four two week-old broiler chicks were placed on each of the coops. Throughout the conduct of the experiment, the mean mass and the number of oocysts present in the dung sample from each coop were recorded. In determining the presence of oocysts, the Sugar Flotation Method was used, and the oocysts were approximately counted manually.
Based on the results of the study, the chicks that were on the ground had the greatest number of oocysts present in them, while those situated in the highest coop had the least number of oocysts present in them. The mean gain in masses of the chicks’ group also showed differences. The chicks located in the highest coop had the greatest mean mass gain while those situated on the ground had the least mean gain in mass after. After the mean gain masses were subjected to ANOVA, there lies no significant difference on the mean gain masses among the different chicks’ group. It was therefore concluded that the coop level has no relation to the mean gain in masses of the chicks

"I'm Just A Kid"
I woke up it was 7
I waited till 11
just to figure out that no one would call
I think i got a lot of friends but I don't hear from them
What's another night all alone?
When your spending everyday on your own and here it goes
[Chorus:]
I'm just a kid
and life is a nightmare
I'm just a kid, I know that its not fair
Nobody cares, cause I'm alone and the world is
having more fun than me {tonight}
And maybe when the night is dead, I'll crawl into my bed
I'm staring at these 4 walls again
I'll try to think about the last time, I had a good time
Everyone's got somewhere to go
And they're gonna leave me here on my own
and here it goes
[Chorus:]
I'm just a kid and life is a nightmare
I'm just a kid, I know that its not fair
Nobody cares, cause I'm alone and the world is
having more fun than me
What the fuck {hell} is wrong with me? don't fit in with anybody
How did this happen to me?
Wide awake I'm bored and I can't fall asleep
and every night is the worst night ever
I'm just a kid
I'm just a kid
I'm Just a kid (I'm just a kid)
Yeah, I'm just a kid (I'm just a kid, I'm just a kid)
Yeah, I'm just a kid (I'm just a kid, I'm just a kid)
[Chorus:]
I'm just a kid and life is a nightmare
I'm just a kid, I know that its not fair
Nobody cares, cause I'm alone and the world is
nobody wants to be alone in the world
I'm just a kid and life is a nightmare
I'm just a kid, I know that its not fair
Nobody cares, cause I'm alone and the world is
nobody wants to be alone in the world
Nobody cares, cause I'm alone and the world is
having more fun than me tonight
I'm all alone tonight
Nobody cares tonight
Cause I'm just a kid tonight
I really like this song since this is how i feel everytime i'm alone and feeling down..
thinking that no one understans me...
