Sinulog 07

Sinulog is the most highly anticipated fiesta in cebu. It is always celebrated at the 3rd sunday of january. The sinulog is a 2 day celebration wer at saturday the annual procession is made and at sunday the grand madriga. Before sinulog there is a novena happening at the sto.Nino church from monday to friday. I was invited to go to mass by my classmates but unfortunately I could'nt come because of our 3rd periodical exam. On friday I went to fuente osmena because there is a lot of happenings there! From foods to bands and lots of stalls you can buy stuff with. On saturday me and my family joined the procession. I walked from the University of Cebu until I reached Sto.Nino church. It was a very tiring walk but I had a lot of fun because I saw my friends, old classmates, new people, and met a lot of pretty girls, but I never forgot wht I was joining the procession and it was to adore the Sto.Nino and to praise him. On sunday during this fiesta me and my family went to Sto.Nino church to join the mass, when I went there the church was already crowded! I had to fight my way to enter it. After the mass, me and my family went to ayala to have somehow quality time together and meet up with my kuya Ginom, who came from Bukidnon because of a seminar on SK. When we arrived there in ayala just likew Sto.Nino, the place was already filled with people! So I told my mom that I would go to Fuente thinking that there would be lesser peopl there and to meet up with my friends. I took a jeep and walked from Cebu Doctors University to Fuente Circle. Upon arriving there I was having a hard time to meet up with my friends because Globe is very busy and the text messages could'nt arrive in time, so I just walk in circles hoping that my friends couls see me in this social jungle. I walked for about 2 hours I think and still could'nt find them, so I decided t stay in Jollibee Mango and listen to the live bands. Upon listening to the bands I heared a very familliar voice and there I saw Janua calling me! I was very glad to see him because I thought that I would spend the whole evening alone. Janua invited me with my other classmates to go to his house because there were lots of food there. We ate there , had fun and even recorded ourselves acting stupid! After eating we decided to go to ayala and watch the fireworks display, the streets were all filled with people going to ayala, we were like zombies attracted to fireworks. Me and my classmates could'nt reach ayala on-time so we just watched the fireworks display near Fooda. For the first time in my whole enteire life I watched fireworks with men! I still could not believe it! (hahahaha) When we reached ayala we just spent the whole time doing nothing and making fun with people. Well that's my Sinulog aint it fun?
