Retreat

Last march 24 2007 was our retreat, It was held at St.John near banawa street. I was very excited because I had a chance to get to know my classmates better and at the same time to know myself better. We started the day assembling at the UPHs campus at around 8:00 a.m where our guidance councilor Mdm.Maglasang was giving us a brief discussion of the rules and regulations of the place where we will held our retreat. Mdm.Maglasang told us that the most important thing you should do is to be silent and don't talk to much since it is a place where nuns and priest stay. After giving us the briefing we did an activity that let us know what our classmates feel about you. I was shocked at the outcome of this activity because I didn't realized that i was important to them and that I was somehoe important in each of there lives.I was also touched by this activity and I felt that I am loved by them which also made me love myself more. Many of my batchmates got emotional and cried there hearts out like they were babies that aren't fed by there moms. No one escaped the emotional plague even the happy-go-lucky persons in our batch, even I felt a bit emotional and almost cried at one time. There I saw the love of everybody in our batch, hugging eachother and thanking everyone for being a part of there colorful lives. After doing the activity it was time to go to St.John! We rode three jeeps to go there, we had so much fun while we were on the road and shared the things that happened on the last activity and before we knew it we were already there. Upon arriving the nuns and priest greeted us and accepted us like we were there owns, they showed us to our rooms and toured us to the place. After doing that we went to our rooms and made ourselves comfortable,Our room is very fun because I had 10 boy room-mates which means a night filled with "bugal2x" and laughter. While we were making ourselves comfortable the priest called us because it was the time for the 1st talk, The talk was very interesting because it tals about loving yourself and loving God. The talk was followed by a debate activity that the topic that was being tlaked about is you should love your self vs you shouldn't love yourself, Everyone gave out all ther stand for there given topics but alas we lost... you should love yourself won the debate. after doing this it was time for the second talk and then followed by an activity in acting.After all of this was done it was time for the most awaited part! EATING! but I got cranky because I really didn't ate that much because the getting of food was not very well organized but it was alright. Now it was the next most awaited activity rhe circle of love wherein you light candles and give it to the people that hurted you or the people you hurted, Again it was a very emotional evening since everyone was releasing all there pains and sorrow to everybody.The activity let me know my batchmates better and helped me understand them more. (Zzzzzz) Do you know what that means? It's time to go to sleep, So we headed to all our rooms and tried to sleep but couldn't... so we just talked the whole evening and even reached to dawn... I think we slept at around 3:00 a.m. ( cocldodledoo ) Morning, It's a sunday so everybody prepred for mass and packed up there stuff since after mass it was time to go back home. After the mass everybody hugged and bid everyone farewell carrying all the stuff that we learned from eachother...
